The 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan arrives with a complete redesign inside and out. Its new body features sharper lines, a bolder front fascia, and more distinctive lighting that gives it a sleeker, more premium look.

Inside, the cabin has been modernized with higher-quality materials, customizable ambient lighting, and a large central touchscreen that replaces most physical controls. Power comes from a more potent 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 201 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Volkswagen has also trimmed weight for improved efficiency and handling.

The new Tiguan now seats five passengers only-dropping the previous third-row option-and comes standard with wireless smartphone connectivity and an upgraded digital display system.

The 2025 VW Tiguan has 4 available trim levels: S, SE, SE R-Line Black, and SEL R-Line.

  • S: The base S delivers a solid starting point with the turbo-charged 2.0-liter engine, LED lighting, the core safety suite via VW's IQ.DRIVE, and optional 4MOTION® all-wheel drive to add extra traction.
